Abstract
FBF(Frankfurter Beschwerde Fragebogen) is a self-report inventory, which was developed by the German psychiatrist Sullwold to help diagnose mental function of psychiatric patients. This study aimed at developing a Korean version of the inventory
by
means of standardization.
First FBF was translate into Korean language and then performed on 267 persons for the purpose of preliminary item analysis.
The results were that all 10 scales of the FBF turned out to be very reliable, whereas the discriminating power of the Scales between the normals and clinical group was not so strong as expected, perhaps due to, 1. Response distortion tendency of
psychiatric patients, 2. Inadequate scaling method, 3. Small size of sample.
